Seacret nail products singapore

Strolling through Marina Bay Sands I was stopped by a sales lady from Seacret. Now I usually don’t like to be stopped and I normally quickly move on, but this lady was quite persuasive and charming and perhaps I was in a good mood. I think she quickly spotted what kind of girl I am and she started talking about this easy filing and polishing system for my nails.

After some smooth talking and using all her sales tricks, she got me to buy the polisher and nail set, even though I had no intention on buying anything! But this lady knew just how to talk to me. I’m indeed a low maintenance girl who likes to spend as little time as possible on her nails.

I especially liked their special buffing block, which involves 3 steps to use:

Step 1: Use the blue coarse side of the cube every 4 weeks to smooth your natural nail surface

Step 2: Use the grey soft side of the cube every 2 weeks for a flawless polish

Step 3: Use the white silky side of the cube every 2 weeks to buff to a perfect gloss

At $65 I probably paid too much for this nail care collection which also includes body lotion, cuticle oil and file, but it may save me some trips to the nail salon. I did like the fact that I can get the file replaced at no cost when it has stopped working.

And Charmaine, or Charm as she wishes to be called, put a smile on my face with her indeed charming sales techniques. Seacret should be very glad to have this lady on their team!

I must say that the Seacret staff are very charming .. I got charmed by an Israeli sales guy into buying lots of skincare products. haha. But, the products are indeed good!

They must have a talent for hiring the right sales staff :)

Hi, I bought the nail kit set today too and I’m wondering if I had paid too much for it. The Israeli sales lady was so eloquent in her sales speech. Plus I was sucked in by the lifetime warranty for the buffer! Then I started to google about Seacret when I reached home. The official Seacret website from Australia only promises 12 months warranty for the buffer.

Now I’m wondering how true will Seacret Singapore honour the “lifetime warranty” exchange.. Great product though :D

Hi Jasmine. I have no idea really. Let’s just hope it keeps on working perfectly!

  • Jen April 28, 2012, 9:38 pm

I would like to know how much did you pay for the nail care kit. Thanks

  • Sylvia April 28, 2012, 9:58 pm

Hi, I bought the same set and eye cream as well at IMM. Unfortunately, they have moved… and I was wondering where i can get more products from Seacret. Only stall in MBS now? Please advise.. Thank you..

I don’t really know. Perhaps someone will see your message and knows the answer….

I was similarly accosted by the Isreali guy just last Sunday at MBS, and the set of nail buffer, bottle of cuticle oil and hand lotion was demo on me. Great results but he quoted me $90, way too much to pay for them and I left without getting any. Any source you know that I could get it cheaper esp online?

  • Sylvia June 7, 2012, 9:21 pm

    Sorry, but I don’t know.

I bought the nail set too at Somerset 313, since i was the last customer they sell me at $60. At first i felt regret buying it but after using the whole set, i’m loving it. I share it with my mum too.

Hi Mariah Abdullah, i just bought the same nail set at 313 Somerset B1 yesterday. the sales lady said they have the store at there and MBS.

    Hi Sylvia & Jen,
I paid S$65 as well. after saw the price you paid. i start wondering they were actually bluffing me. they said the original price is 120 plus and $65 is the so-call “zero profit” price…so hope we bought the lowest price as they can give.

Beside, i m not sure if it is harm to nails to use buffer to polish. anyone knows about that part?

BTW, my sales lady is from Isreali as well. her age seems like 40-50.

I bought a nail set at $65 after that knowing elsewhere sell the same similar set at $50.. At first they told me $115 after that bring the price down to $65. I am sure the cost is even cheaper

  • Jen December 27, 2012, 5:56 pm

After some hard bargaining, she agreed to sell for $50. But I found the same thing on Amazon for lower price. But then you would have to factor in the shipping costs. So I supposed if you really like the product, bargain for a better price.

  • Bobbie December 27, 2012, 9:15 pm

I know how to purchase the product at a cheaper price already..:) do let me know what if anybody needs it. It’s sure 101% assure cheaper than what u buy..

  • Vijay Kumar February 14, 2013, 6:25 am

I had bought 3 @ 180, luckily still reasonable price, otherwise i would have bought 1@ 90 then it is very high price

  • Shirley February 21, 2013, 5:18 pm

i paid S$330 for the revive eye serum and regain eye cream. T_T then i went amazon.com and bought the same for 75 USD. haha. I’ve been buying online since. if you look on amazon.com, you can find the products. the prices fluctuates though, i think it depends on availability.
